Fair Housing.
Leasoro Property Management is an Equal Housing Opportunity provider committed to fair, consistent, non-discriminatory service.
Equal Housing Opportunity
We comply with the Federal Fair Housing Act and the Texas Fair Housing Act in every aspect of leasing and management.
01Our Commitment
Leasoro Property Management is fully committed to the principles of Equal Housing Opportunity. We pledge to administer every aspect of our leasing, marketing, application, screening, and management operations in a consistent, objective, and non-discriminatory manner — without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), familial status, disability, or any other class protected under federal, state, or local law.
02Protected Classes
Under the Federal Fair Housing Act and the Texas Fair Housing Act, it is unlawful to discriminate in housing on the basis of:
- Race
- Color
- National origin
- Religion
- Sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation)
- Familial status (including children under 18 living with parents or legal custodians, and pregnant women)
- Disability (physical or mental)
Leasoro also honors any additional protected classes added by local ordinance in the markets we serve.
03What This Means in Practice
Our commitment to fair housing shapes every step of how we work with prospective and current residents:
- Marketing & advertising. Listings are inclusive, factual, and free of language that would discourage any protected class from applying.
- Inquiries & tours. Every applicant receives the same information about availability, terms, and the application process.
- Application screening. Decisions are based on consistent, written criteria — credit, income, rental history, background, and references — applied to every applicant equally.
- Leases & terms. Rent, deposits, lease language, and policies are set without regard to protected-class membership.
- Service. Maintenance, communications, renewals, and move-out procedures are administered without favoritism or bias.
04Reasonable Accommodations & Modifications
Leasoro welcomes requests for reasonable accommodations and reasonable modifications for applicants and residents with disabilities, as provided under the Fair Housing Act.
- A reasonable accommodation is a change to a policy, rule, or service that allows a person with a disability equal use and enjoyment of a dwelling (for example, an assigned parking space close to a unit, or an exception to a no-pet rule for an assistance animal).
- A reasonable modification is a physical change to the unit or common area that allows a person with a disability equal use and enjoyment (for example, installing a grab bar in a bathroom).
To request an accommodation or modification, contact us at Info@leasoro.com or (972) 220-8589. We will respond promptly and engage in a good-faith interactive process.
05Assistance Animals
Assistance animals — including service animals and support animals prescribed for a disability-related need — are not considered pets under the Fair Housing Act. They are not subject to the property's pet fees, pet rent, or breed/weight restrictions, provided that proper documentation is on file consistent with HUD guidance.
